We recently stayed at a hotel that was conveniently located close to the train station with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. the room was larger than expected, with a sofa and kitchenette, and the bathroom was big for Japan. the staff was very welcoming and helpful, check-in was fast, and there were complimentary toiletries provided. the breakfast had a wide variety of food to choose from.
The bathroom door was a bit inconvenient and could get in the way when entering.

The staff was nice and friendly. The room had a minimalistic style but it was very clean and cozy. The hotel was strategically located close to public transportation and it was easy to get around the city. We enjoyed the New Year's Eve celebration with complimentary drinks and snacks at the hotel lobby.
the room walls were very thin and we could hear our room neighbors all night which kept us up. The Wi-Fi signal was very weak and we had difficulty connecting our devices.

The mini kitchen was a great help and the free coffee was good. the location was perfect, being situated in a quiet area but still close to convenience stores and restaurants. It was also just a short walk from the station, making it easy to return to after a day of touring.
The room was a bit small, which may not be comfortable for everyone. the hotel was located a bit of a distance from public transportation, requiring a short walk through some alleys.

The hotel was conveniently located near a train station and was easy to find. We had a spacious room with a comfortable bed and separate toilet and shower areas. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and we appreciated that we could leave our luggage after checkout. Additionally, the breakfast was affordable and had vegetarian options.
Nothing bad to say.

My room at Hotel Cerezo was incredibly spacious, something that is quite rare in Japan. I had a whole sitting area with a comfortable couch in front of the TV. The bed was also very comfortable, allowing me to get a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring. The separate toilet and bathing areas were convenient, and having a desk in the room made it easy for me to get some work done. The hotel's location was great, situated between two stations and within walking distance of Ueno Park. The staff was excellent, with one member even using a translation gadget to communicate with me. Plus, being able to leave my luggage after check-out was a huge convenience.
Even though there were minor issues like some amenities needing to be collected from the lobby, and a cleaner who didn't fully understand instructions, these did not significantly impact my stay.
